This news makes me wonder. Those of us that get to massage web pages till they dance well with IE and Firefox as many browsers a possible might not like what this does to the browser landscape over the next year. I would think the current browser statistics will not change all that much. However, the perception of how far you need to go in supporting those browsers could change much more than the stats themselves.
